NOVEMBER IS UPON US, LETS ENJOY THE LAST FEW WEEKS OF SUN IN OUR WONDERFUL HIDDEN GARDEN

We are so pleased to welcome everybody back as we open up the doors again. It has been such a stressful time for everyone and we cannot thank everyone enough for the support and kind messages we have received.

We really hope that you have not been badly affected by recent events and at some point in time we can settle back to a new form of normality, for those who have suffered we can only offer our support and sympathy.

Th team has been preparing with a new menu, deep cleaning and creating a new feel to the place, we hope you enjoy it.

Though we are not really a sports pub, it’s great to be able to bring you selected live events such as the Rugby and various other sporting events, the atmosphere in the pub has been great! We will be showing LIVE on our drop-down projector screen(s) or in the garden on our new Wide Screen TV and look forward to seeing you for a game (and a Guinness) or two.

Finally, we would like to announce our new art movement, The Queen’s Head Artists Collective. We have long been championing local artists in the pub by exhibiting their work on our walls, but now we are going a step further.

The aim is to create a collective of local artists, and regularly meet in the pub to discuss ‘Arty Bollocks’ as one member put it….and to look forward with regards to new exhibitions, new artists, themes for what to showcase etc. The aim is create a relaxed, informal meeting place and gallery space for artists from the local area, and to help to promote their work without the expense of using art galleries.
